Troy joined the United States Air Force Chaplain Corps in 2022. He holds a Master of Divinity in Professional Chaplaincy from Liberty University. He recently finished Basic Chaplain Course (BCC) at Maxwell AFB and is currently working toward his fourth unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) while serving the ROTC cadets at the University of Texas at Austin. Troy lives in Austin, Texas with Sabrina, his wife of seventeen years, and their four children.
